We have referred many of our customers to Tom "TJ" Johnson, and virtually all of them are pleased with the service and rates TJ provides them. If that were not the case, then Mooneyland would not give its recommendation, pure and simple. TJ will provide you with a competitive rate alright, but where he really shines is when something gets dinged. There have been a time or two when TJ was needed and his reaction and ability to get things done quickly really come through with flying colors! We truly mean that! Case and point: Recently a 231 buyer had his plane landed 100' short of the active. The 8,000 hour ferry pilot ran it out of gas on one side while entering the pattern. That customer elected to go with AOPA and because the insurance was just barely in effect, they looked for every reason not to insure that airplane. Mooneyland got involved and equipped with some saber's to rattle, finally got some positive results, but it could have gone either way. That would not have happened with TJ's company because TJ wants to continue to receive the many referrals we send him.
Also, just this past week a customer that we referred to him had an insurance quote for a potential sale on our Mooney Rocket from AOPA; well see the email TJ sent me below:

This is an actual email received Friday, July 11, 2008! Need we say more?! So whether you're insuring your first, current, or future airplane, Mooneyland highly suggests getting hold of TJ first thing so as to sample TJ's easy ways, interesting conversation, and most important, the great relationship you will about to have with AIRPOWER INSURANCE! Yes, TJ is an aircraft owner and warbird flier himself. It sure beats talking direct to an insurance guy who is himself an aircraft owner/operator instead of some uncaring and unknowing office clerk/salesperson and TJ will not sell you more insurance than you need!
