CARROMME IT BABY!

Okay, I admit it, I'm a car/motorcycle/airplane lover since a kid in the '50's and a car/motorcycle fixer-upper from 14 years old onward. AND THEN THERE WERE AIRPLANES!!!!!!!!

Guys, I suppose I have made descent money in my life, mostly when I was in the film biz, but most of it went to houses, wife and kid. Not much money budgeted for my stuff, so from near day one I have learned how to achieve BEVERLY HILLS results on a BEER BUDGET!

I was speaking with my oldest son Michael today and he mentioned that considering the things I have done myself instead of hiring others, I must have saved about a million bux!

Most guys have it in them to do stuff yourself, but perhaps some of them may lack the "go ahead and try" attitude.

After my conversation with Mike, I began thinking about that some, and while many of my customers leave everything up to do, I want to encourage you all to make the most of your airplane, and do it on a BEER BUDGET!

Hey; it's not about whether you've got the bux to have it done or not. It's about taking a look at stuff once you did it.

There is this sense of satisfaction that comes over you when you take on a project and make something nicer and better than it ever was! YOU DID THAT! cool!

So, we decide to spiff up the old trusty bird. We want to achieve something; something between a general cleanup to a full blown ZEPHROIZING!

Those of you whom have worked with me after the sale will know that when you ask for something or need something done to your airplane, I often suggest the least expensive way to get 'er done. I just believe in that. Save a few bux here and spend more there, such as avgas!

Not only will you save some bux and make your plane more valuable, but you'll think more of your own accomplishments each time you look at the bird.

Those of you who know my website well, already know to go to   and other places on this website such as "Ride Pimping", etc. There you will learn how to fix up things like gear legs, yokes, touchup paint, etc.

You can really spiff your old bird up with some CHROME to add to the fix-up stuff you've already done, or you can just start here:

i have used a local chrome shop so often in my "zephroizing" customer's aircraft that they decided to give me the commercial rate to which I cannot only make a few bucks on, but their prices are so low that the price I will give you will be lower than nearly any other chrome shop near you, but more importantly; I have not had any complaints from mooneylander's at least since I began using this shop about the quality. It is a difficult process to chrome aluminum, yet this shop appears to be among the best out there, so whether you Mooney or your Harley, mooneyland can get it done for you.

A bit of noise about CHROME: If you have a painted spinner, chances are other traffic won't see a reflection, but if you have a chrome spinner on a bright day, its reflection is seen far further than even a strobe. Some folks have polished spinners. I even prefer polish to painted personally, but the minute you or someone touches the spinner, it turns black, so you're always polishing. Chrome looks good even when it's dirty! ;o)

We're not talking just Spinner here. Tie Down Rings look sharp chromed and when you pull on the tie down rope, it won't be cleared of paint like the painted ones do that later rust, and they look sharp! If you have HUBCAPS, Inside Door Latches, Yoke Tops, Engine Valve Covers, Gas Caps, Landing Light frame such as found on the Mooney 201 and 231 and more, and virtually anything that can be removed and plated; done. Make your treasured airplane as sharp as possible and for not a lot of BUX!

Example: Chrome plate your spinner, tie down rings, Mooney interior door handle (201 and newer), 201 style yoke top caps, and set of 3 hubcaps: only $450.00! Yes, we'll even do Harley or other motorcycle parts; price upon request.
