THE AVERAGE
Mooney can have new leather seats with pockets in BOTH front and
back of the front seats, repair of the existing Royalite (ABS) (if
repairable, if not replaceable), refinish the Royalite color, AND
install new carpet (extensive color choices available) made correct
for each Mooney model for $5295.00 for a limited time! Extras such
as overstuffing available. Leather wrapped yokes and chrome plating
available. Included in the base price is new floor carpet, refinish
ABS side panels, 100% leather on front, back, and side of seats map
pockets included! New FAA approved foam to re-shape old warn seat
contourincluded.
Additions and upgrades over and above what is mentioned are always
available for equally low prices.
Availability of work performed is limited, as we plan to perform
this service only when time allows, so please call for a slot and
color of leather availability. One of the reasons we can do this for
far more than less than half the cost of other interior shops, is
that our leather supplier has only limited supply's and colors of
quality leather hides at any given moment in time, but our huge
savings is passed on to you. BTW, an upgrade to consider is
over-stuffing to add height to early Mooney seats that don't
articulate.
In the future, we will update this to bring you other happy
customer's interiors...with an eye to providinga more
descriptive "Before and After" so that you can have a better
appreciation of the VAST difference
experienced!! Paint work done on an individual basis considering
workload of the paint shop. Current sandand paint prices for a Mooney start at
$6500 and strip and paint prices start at $7,995. Both include
primer, a basecoat, and two color stripes and include help in
designing that perfect scheme and color combinations. Sand and
paint while less money can have advantages over using stripper, but
have slight disadvantages when paint scheme is changed in that you
can at times faintly see where the oldscheme lines were that even though heavily
sanded, the new paint can swell the old lines some. All control
surfaces are stripped and re-balanced.
It is always a
good idea when designing a paint scheme to work it so that the
leading edge paint is different than the rest of the main wing so
that as abrasion affects the
paint over the years, the leading edge can be repainted without
having to repaint the entire wing and control surfaces. Note how
that was accomplished on the exterior
photos.

Wow, whatta job this was,
but pimping we did for an entire 231 Turbo make-over.
We had a celebratory beer
or two over this one! BTW, a special base coat/clear coat
paint was used here and I
had candy pearl violet added in the clear which shows only
when the sun is shining.
Quite an effect!
EPILOG
For those who have seen my
article on Speed Brakes; you noticed Paul's 231 sitting
a bit closer to the ground
than he would have liked. All is well now however, and N36PE
is back complimenting the
skies with her dazzling performance and looks. She now
boasts a fabulous looking
brand new Scimitar 3 blade prop! Wanna see?
